What We Believe

The Bible is the inspired word of God and the source of doctrine. There is one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Man was made in the image of God, but has been separated from Him by sin.

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was born of a virgin, lived as a man, and died to take the full penalty for our sin. Salvation is found only through Jesus. Jesus rose from the dead, was taken up to heaven and reigns with the Father.

The Holy Spirit is God’s presence on earth and is available to all believers. We enter God’s kingdom by His grace through our repentance from sins, faith in Jesus, baptism in water and receiving the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Church, the universal body of believers, who share the Lord’s Supper together in remembrance of Him. Jesus Christ will return in glory and will judge all who have lived.
