Money Management Made Simple
Starting in October we are running a three week free course on Money Management.
It will take place at the Coton Centre Comberford Road, Coton Green starting at 7:30pm
It will run on Friday 21th, 28th October and 4th November. The course is lead by
Christians Against Poverty local representatives and is designed to support those
who need help with money management or debt issues.

Super Saturday
Super Saturday is a monthly event that is led by volunteers of all ages who are CRB checked. This event is for children aged 4-10 where they will have an opportunity to make new friends whilst experiencing craft, puppets, bible teaching and stories,sports and games all combining to provide a fun and action packed monthly event.
Each session costs just £1 per child

The Club runs from 10 – 12 noon. For kids that attend, a registration form needs to filled in, signed by a parent or guardian, and handed in to The Coton Centre. To speak to someone about the Clubs, please contact:

Messy Church
What is Messy Church?
Messy Church is NOT just another craft and activities club just for children! Messy Church is for the whole family and community– young & old alike, adults, children, teenagers, carers, grandparents, come as friends, families or partners, or come on your own, all are welcome.
If you think that church can be boring and irrelevant, then think again.
Messy Church is church with a difference. The emphasis of Messy Church is about learning about God in a fun and creative way, and about families enjoying quality time together. It is a church for families who find it hard to go to church on a Sunday, usually happens once every 4-6 weeks on a Saturday afternoon between 3-5pm.
Each month there are activities based around a particular theme, where people of all ages are encouraged to come and be involved, or just sit and relax with a cup of tea or coffee chatting to our team and making new friends following an hour or so of crafts and other activities then there is the celebration. Then there is food! There is a cheap and cheerful meal for everyone to enjoy time together before leaving. It doesn’t matter if you have been to church before or not, everyone is welcome at Messy Church.
- It is an all-age church where everyone will be valued equally.
- It provides an informal, relaxed environment for all-ages to explore and experience faith and worship through crafts, food and celebration.
- It describes each and every one of us as no one is perfect and each of us lead messy lives for many reasons.
- It invites us to come together, making things together, eating together and celebrating God together. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Multiply is a ten month training programme run by Coton Green Church in
association with Springdale College aimed towards anyone involved in Church
life. Our course for 2011/2012 is currently running.

cafechurch: Costa 20th January
20th February is our next event happening at Costa Ventura
Coton Green Church began this event on December 20th 2010 called cafechurch.
cafechurch is coffee with a conscience. It’s the fresh expression of community on the high street. It brings communities into the relaxed café atmosphere of Costa Coffee to deal with issues from a faith perspective.
At cafechurch you’ll tackle issues such as fair trade, the environment, stress, adoption, parenting, debt and divorce, together with quizzes, interviews, round table discussions, live music with great coffee and great chat!
The evening will contain all the usual elements such as quizzes, informal discussion
and a real life story from someone for whom this subject has been an issue.
Grab a coffee and come along.

If you are new to us, the deacons (clearly identified with a badge) are there to help and direct you to the right place at the right time. If you need any help during your morning with us, please contact one of them.
Evenings:
We meet every evening – but we split up into smaller groups. There is always a group meeting at the Coton Centre and the service begins at 6pm. This is a much smaller and more informal gathering in comparrision to Sunday morning.
As well as this, we meet reguarly around the surrounding villages:
Bolehall – Ankermoor Court, a service for the residents.
Hurley Village Hall, as an outreach to that community.
Coleshill – Coton Green Church has had a witness in Coleshill for a number of years.
Coleshill - St Joseph’s home – a monthly ‘Song of Praise’ service for the residents.

House-groups are a great way to stay in touch and support one another mid-week. We currently run 11 groups in and around Tamworth. If you live in Tamworth there is probably a group meeting near your home this week. For further details contact David Bailey or call the centre on 01827 60789.
Mums & Tots
Every Monday & Thursday Mornings (term time only)
Parenting can be a challenge! Here is an opportunity to mix and meet with other parents and their children. We meet in a spacious sports hall at the Coton Centre which is set up with many activites for the children to enjoy.
Parents can chat over morning coffee and toast. Towards the end of the sessions there is always a time of singing and sharing where the children can participate together. Dads and grandparents are most welcome. If you would like further information about these sessions please call the Coton Centre on 01827 60789.
