Locals remark on community projects

On Saturday the 24th July, young people adults forming the IMPACT team were involved in litter picking and painting for the community. The young volunteers who helped fund the cost of the project, together with Tamworth Borough Council, were much appreciated by community members. SEE: Youth litter picking, graffiti washing & running Holiday Clubs

Last week, the 11 – 17’s from the Coton Centre formed a team called IMPACT. Activities included firstly: Social Action activities throughout the town of Tamworth, in accordance with local street wardens, such as litter picking, graffiti removal and painting railings outside shopping areas. Secondly, the IMPACT team ran Holiday Clubs for young children from reception age to year 6 at school.
